Notes From Lee – Log Date: June 12, 2007
I suspect this will be my last transmission from the Sea of Tranquility while out at sea. The day has been cold but calm; and other then an occasional dolphin or sea lion sticking their head out of the water to take a peek as we were passing by, the day has been pretty uneventful. It has been a good day at sea. We passed a few very small islands but much of the mainland was kept under cover from us by a light fog.
Once ashore, Jose’s Sheila will be making us a home cooked meal and will be putting me up for the next few days so I can do some exploring inland and arrange for a flight home where all my family, Sherry, and many friends are anxiously awaiting my return.
